Description

Phyllostachys bambusoides 'Allgold' is a striking plant because the new culms come up yellow rather than green, and they stay that way. They occasionally have a few thin green stripes on the culms. The 'Allgold' cultivar gets large, but is not a timber bamboo like the species, P. bambusoides.
